And as such you can not, by RAW, start a troop choice in dedicated transport in the dawn of war scenerio. So I'll ask, where does it say that a 'Dedicated Transport' becomes a 'Troop' for dawn of war purposes (or any other purpose for that matter)? Since the rules are permissive, it would be my understanding that unless there is a rule that allows you to substitute a dedicated transport for a troop choice it can't be done.
And it has been shown in multiple instances where examples or game play demos have been applying the rules incorrectly. So, except where the transport is listed under 2 different sections of the unit choices where do they change into the type of unit that selects them? I don't accept that the example listed above addresses this issue. Where in the rules does it say that a dedicated transport becomes a 'Troop' unit?
